Thermal paper is not a significant source of BPA, according to an international panel of experts convened by the World Health Organization, which announced that food is “by far the main source of BPA exposure and other sources are of minor relevance.” It also noted that BPA “is not accumulated in the body and is rapidly eliminated through urine.”
